TruFit Truck Hoods was founded by Larry Daly in 1989.  TruFit has become a leading aftermarket hood replacement manufacturer.  TruFit has always manufactured their hoods in their own factory, unlike some companies that sell aftermarket hoods and contract with outside manufactures that they have no control over. 

 

In December 2008, TruFit was purchased by Mike Jacobs and relocated to Grove, OK.  Mike has been in the fiberglass manufacturing business for over 36 years.  He started Jacobs Manufacturing in 1973.  Jacobs Manufacturing has established its self as a leading supplier of fiberglass products for the water and waste water industry.  They are a well known manufacturer of FRP Buildings and enclosures.  TruFit Truck Hoods is a good fit with Jacobs Manufacturing’s capabilities.  We were also able to hire Ron Coonce who was Larry Daly’s manufacturing foreman.  Ron has 26 years experience building truck hoods.  Stephanie Shoffner has been with Jacobs Manufacturing for 9 years.  She has become an invaluable asset to the company as our office manager and is committed to providing you with excellent customer service.
